"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8:38-39 NIV

God loves you my brohters and sisters and there is nothing that can separate you from his love.  His love is eternal, its abundant, its faithful and its real.  So remember you are beloved children of God and his love endures forever and nothing or anyone can separate you from God's amazing love,  .  Amen!

Amen!

Para el 3 de abril del 2015 – Viernes Santo

(Spanish) Juan 12 - Dios Habla Hoy (DHH)

¿Y qué voy a decir? ¿Diré: “Padre, líbrame de esta angustia”? ¡Pero precisamente para esto he venido! 28 Padre, glorifica tu nombre.

¿PADRE, GLORIFICA TU NOMBRE?"

Pastora Fundadora y Maestro de Ministerio Nueva Creación / New Creation Ministries

For April 3, 2015 – Good Friday

(English) John 12 - Common English Bible (CEB)

Whoever serves me must follow me. Wherever I am, there my servant will also be. My Father will honor whoever serves me. “Now I am deeply troubled. What should I say? ‘Father, save me from this time’? No, for this is the reason I have come to this time. 28 Father, glorify your name!”

Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

As I read this scripture in preparation for Holy Week I had an AHA moment in where I clearly understand fully the humanity of Jesus as his hour is approaching that the Word will be fulfilled. Jesus said “Now I am deeply troubled,” What should I say? ‘Father, save me from this time’? For that brief moment in these words you can sense the struggle of Jesus as he agonizes with what is coming. Then comes to his senses and realizes that this has to happen so the Word can be fulfilled. When he rationalized what he was saying. Jesus says: “NO, FOR THIS IS THE REASON I HAVE COME TO THIS TIME. FATHER, GLORIFY YOUR NAME?”

So brothers and sisters in Christ there is no human suffering that our Lord Jesus has not experience or understand. We sometimes what things to be changed and our circumstance to be difference but perhaps it is what we need to move us forward and to bring us salvation. May this Good Friday be a time for you to reflect on these words and see what God is revealing to you? Jesus our Savior is fully divine but was fully human as He experienced everyday life on earth and for this reason He understands our human condition.

What AHA moment is God wanting you to experience so that you may become faithful disciples? God bless you and walk with you each day so that you may be vessels of Blessings where you go and whatever you do.

With the love of Jesus,

The Rev. Pérsida Rivera-Méndez,

Founding Pastor and Teacher of New Creation Ministries / Ministerio Nueva Creación

Word for today

 Matthew 22:37-39New International Version (NIV)

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]

God calls us to love one another as he loves each one of us. And to also love our neighbor the one that society has deemed unlovable and unacceptable. Who are those that God is calling you to love that are hard for you to love? God is challenging us and calling us to love HIM with all that we are and our neighbor as ourselves. If we do so we are doing God’s will. For we are not alone we are created to be in relationship with one another.
